Program Description
Philosophy deals with the fundamental questions of life, including the nature of knowledge, the basis of morality and politics, and the rational analysis of religious beliefs. A philosophical perspective emphasizes clear thinking about what is truly important to live well.

Student may earn a minor in Philosophy with a B.A. or a B.S. degree in another academic discipline. Students may also pursue an Interdisciplinary Studies Major  with an emphasis on philosophy.  The curriculum provides excellent preparation for graduate work in law, ethics, religion, philosophy and other fields in which reasoning and argumentation skills or ability to work at a high level of abstraction are important.

Course Delivery Format
The program provides courses online and face to face on campus and at various off-campus attendance centers.
