Development of a fundamental understanding of engineering properties of soils and the factors controlling their magnitude and changes with time and environment. Development of why this knowledge is important and how it can be used in the solution of geotechnical and geoenvironmental problems.Students enrolling in CEE 546 will be held to a higher standard than those enrolling in CEE 446.
