This course surveys important issues in western religious thought from “great medieval synthesis” of the thirteenth century through he Reformation and Counter-reformation of the sixteenth century. While both Jewish and Islamic developments are examined, emphasis is placed upon the development of Christian doctrine.Credits: 3
