CHEM 617 - Action Research in the Secondary Classroom

This course will engage science instructors in processes used to assess the efficacy of using specific strategies for teaching in the classroom. The methodology for conducting educational research in the classroom will be the initial focus. One outcome of the course will be the inception of a project that could be implemented by the science instructor to investigate the use of a new teaching strategy in the classroom.
